Abstract
ABSTRACT
A more sensitive and less complicated chemical method has been evolved for the quantitative determination of progesterone in 5–10 ml samples of human plasma. The method is suitable for application to peripheral blood levels at all stages of pregnancy and may be applied to the study of the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. The sensitivity, accuracy, precision and specificity of the method are discussed.
