Origins and diversity of Brassica and its relatives.

Abstract

This chapter describes the biodiversity as well as the origin and geographical distribution of natural Brassica species and its relatives. Some information is given on variations in chromosome counts, morphology, physiology and habitat preference of both cultivated and wild Brassica species and forms.
