The genus Symploce Hebard. IV. Species from Borneo (Kalimantan, Sabah, Sarawak), Sumatra and West Malaysia. (Dictyoptera: Blattaria, Blattellidae)

AbstractEight species of Symploce are described, of which the following 6 are new: bicolorata (Kalimantan, Sabah), bidiensis (Sarawak), ferruginea (Sabah ; West Malaysia), paralarvata (West Malaysia), propexcavata (Sabah), and spinistylifera (Sabah). Symploce excavata (Shelford) (Sarawak), and S. larvata (Hanitsch) (Kalimantan, Sarawak; Sumatra) are redescribed. Symploce incerta (Hanitsch) (Sumatra), and S. obtusifrons (Walker) (Sarawak) are placed incertae sedis. The species are arranged in 4 species-groups, and a key is given to the males.
