AbstractThe onset of behaviour, studied in relation to the neuro-anatomy. is marked by the heart beat. This begins in separate regions of the heart which later becomes connected and develops a rhythm. It is followed by non-rhythmic contractions of the body musculature, the resulting flexures becoming alternating or serial and cephalo-caudal.
