1. In 1932, Gordon reported that injecting rabbits intracerebrally with lymph node suspension obtained from patients with Hodgkin's disease caused ataxia and muscle paralysis after two to 20 days. The histopathological findings consisted mainly of damage to Purkinje cells, with a lesser hippocampal and pyramidal neuronal involvement
