Abstract

No single strategy will be successful in eliminating contamination of fresh produce and seed by human pathogenic bacteria, but a multi-pronged approach may reduce the risks of outbreaks. An integrated pest management model is likely to work for minimizing the risk of human pathogenic bacteria on seed and fresh produce. Accepted for publication 20 December 2002.
