Abstract
This paper explores the beneficial and adverse effects of ICT teaching techniques on the learning of English as a second language learner through a survey of the use of ICT teaching techniques by higher teachers in the classroom. This paper also provides guidance and recommendations for higher education teachers to use ICT teaching technology in the classroom through a detailed analysis of the adverse effects of ICT on ESL students.
