Abstract

The solitary beetle (Osmoderma barnabita Motsch., 1845) is a prominent representative of the lamellar beetles (Scarabaeidae), common in the natural habitats of Central and Eastern Europe [10]. A typical forest species, the range of which is determined by deciduous trees. The development of larvae takes place in the hollows of trees and lasts 2-3 years.
