Abstract
This study compared voiding function and bladder phenotypes in global and smooth muscle-specific TREK-1 KO mice. We found significant age-related changes in bladder contractility, suggesting that the lack of TREK-1 channel activity might contribute to age-related changes in bladder smooth muscle physiology.
