Abstract
Abstract
This paper delves into the factors and ramifications of critical thinking among engineering students in Romania. Critical thinking, defined as the ability to analyze and evaluate information logically and creatively, is a key focus. The study seeks to address several research questions, including the nature of critical thinking as an innate gift or learned skill, variations in critical thinking by gender, year of studies, education, and life satisfaction, and the relationship between critical thinking and human logic. Furthermore, the study explores the influence of formal education in Romania on the development of critical thinking.
