Abstract

Abstract The paper investigates the capabilities for increased productivity, reduced lead times, and higher product quality with the concerted use of CAD/CAM/CAE and software platforms for workgroups. For the purposes of this report, the design of the reusable training-practice mortar round for short distance firing is used as an example.
