On the Construction of Passive Models from Frequency Response Data (Konstruktion passiver Modelle auf der Basis von Frequenzbereichsdaten)

Abstract

In many situations where linear models need to be fitted to measured data, the requirement arises that the resulting model be stable and passive. One such application is model construction from S-parameter measurements. In this note we present an interpolation based method for the direct construction of stable and passive models from frequency response data.
