Abstract

A molten salt-assisted synthesis and Li-refeeding strategy is applied to prepare single-crystalline slightly Li-rich Li1.06Ni0.90Mn0.04O2 with low magnetic moment and mitigated Li+/Ni2+ cation mixing, which enhances cycling performance.
