Abstract
Bovine serum albumin–iodine acts as a cooperative catalyst for C(sp2)–H sulfenylation of indoles and hydroxyaryls (i.e. 2-naphthol/4-hydroxycoumarin) with diverse thiols (aryl/heteroaryl) using water under aerobic conditions.
