Abstract

A bimetallic tetranuclear Yb3+/K+ complex obtained using β-triketonate ligands was found to be a suitable precursor for the fabrication of near-infrared Organic Light Emitting Devices that outclass any other previously reported lanthanoid-based near-infrared device.
