Abstract

A “Li-rich Ni-rich” cathode material design strategy was demonstrated by Li1+yNi(3−5y)/3Mo2y/3O2 as a proof of concept, showing an intergrowth of layered LiNiO2-rich and disordered Li4MoO5-rich phases with excellent cycling stability.
