Abstract

The nanogap amplified plasmonic heat-generators are fabricated by decorating Pt nanodots on gold nanospheres (GNSs@Pt@mPEG) by maintaining strategic nano-gaps (1–2 nm) and studied precisely for plasmonic photothermal therapy (PPTT) of colon cancer.
