Abstract

γ-Sultams bearing a trifluorinated ethyl- or an ene-gem-difluorinated tether were obtained from CF3-substitutedN-allenamides; experimental and DFT calculations suggested that this transformation involves a 5-endo-digcyclization on the ene-ynamide generatedin situ.
