Abstract

C-doped TiO₂ nanoplates (CTNP) with exposed {001} facets were synthesized for the first time. The obtained CTNP presented high visible-light photocatalytic activity. A reasonable mechanism of photocatalysis on CTNP under visible light was proposed.
