Abstract

A novel mesh-like LiZnBO₃/C composite has been prepared and applied as an anode for lithium ion batteries with a combined intercalation–conversion–alloy lithium storage mechanism in the first cycle. The obtained LiZnBO₃/C shows excellent cycle stability in both half and full batteries.
