Abstract

As an alluring metal-free polymeric semiconductor material, graphite-like carbon nitride (g-C₃N₄; abbreviated as GCN) has triggered a new impetus in the field of photocatalysis, mainly favoured from its fascinating physicochemical and photoelectronic structural features.
