Abstract

Transition metal ions are anchored into the tunnel structure. The d-filling metal ions shift down O 2p band center, thus alleviating O–H interaction and facilitating proton desorption. The specific capacitance of Zn2+-anchored WO3 reaches 202% of pristine WO3.
