Abstract
Ir(iii) complexes bearing the N–PO resonance variation skeleton show high PLQYs, ambipolar and AIPE features. Their solution-deposited OLEDs achieve a 3.0 V turn-on voltage and EL efficiencies of 26.9%, 69.2 cd A−1 and 59.3 lm W−1.
