Abstract

In order to extend the use of supported ionic liquids as effective heterogeneous catalysts, in this research, a novel FSM-16 supported Brønsted acidic ionic liquid (FSM-16-IL-SO3H) was synthesized and characterized using various techniques such as FT-IR, TGA, SEM, EDX, XRD, and BET.
