Abstract

SiC_f/BNNTs–SiC hierarchical composites were fabricated via firstly in situ growth of BNNTs on SiC fibers using boron powder as a raw material and then matrix densification by chemical vapor infiltration and polymer impregnation/pyrolysis methods.
