Abstract
Terpyridine appended stable gem-bistriazoles afford multinuclear platinum(ii) complexes upon reaction with Pt(dmso)2Cl2. Pt-complexes show excellent AIPE when interacts with ct-DNA. Naked eye DNA-detection is possible when exposed to 366 nm light.
