Abstract

Pd–Ru/SiO₂ showed special surface chemical properties that were totally different from those of Pd/SiO₂ and Ru/SiO₂ and exhibited high activity and selectivity for the hydrogenation of benzoic acid to cyclohexanecarboxylic acid.
