Abstract

A hybrid Mg²⁺/Li⁺ battery operates at a high potential of 2.45 V and delivers superior properties, especially at ultra-low temperature (77% capacity retention at −40 °C), which is preferable for many peculiar fields and places, such as polar regions, aerospace, and deep offshore waters.
