Abstract

(C₁₀H₇)Te(CH₂)₄Te(C₁₀H₇) (1) and [(C₁₀H₇)Te(CH₂)₄]Br (2) are formed from Li[Te(C₁₀H₇)] and Br(CH₂)₄Br. Treatment of1with CuBr affords [Cu₂(μ-Br)₂{μ-(C₁₀H₇)₂Te₂(CH₂)₄}₂] (3).
