Abstract
Novel optically active pyrano[3,2-c]chromenes have been synthesized (up to 94% yield, 99% ee) through an asymmetric catalytic domino reaction and identified as potent acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. In most cases, the S-enantiomers were superior to R-enantiomers.
