Abstract
Unlike that of the conformationally flexibleC-ethyl-2-methylresorcinarene the structurally more rigidC4vcavity inC-ethyl-2-bromoresorcinarene prefers only small aromaticN-oxides stabilized through C–H⋯π interactions.
