, which were described in a paper on “The Physical and Chemical Properties of Iron Carbonyl,” communicated to the Society in 1905. The experiments on the action of light on iron pentacarbonyl under varied conditions have resulted in new and interesting observations, and approximate measurements of the velocity of the reaction induced by light have been made and compared with that of other reactions induced by light.
