Investigation on the crystalline lens

Abstract

Although a large number of papers have been written on the nature and possible causes of cataract, it is only recently that any attempt has been made to attack the problem from a biochemical standpoint. It was a thought, therefore, that experiments on the biochemistry of the normal animal lens might be of some value in the solving of this problem.
