Abstract
Agri-food industry generates a wide variety of waste by-products in huge amounts every year. These by-products possess various phytochemicals which are known as high value addeded substances. Oilseed crops produces residuals, which have potential source of high added-value phytochemicals. This study gives the types of oilseed by-products and their high added value phytochemicals by summarizing the recent studies on the valorization of different wastes of several oilseed crops. Furthermore, future perspectives are also discussed.
