1. Felix Arlt studied medicine at the Medical Faculty in Leipzig, Germany, and since 2008 he has been a resident of neurosurgery at the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Leipzig, Germany. From 2009 to 2011, he focused on intraoperative imaging and neuronavigation.
2. Since 2001, Dirk Winkler has been a Consultant of Neurosurgery at the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Leipzig. He received his PhD in 2010. He is very interested in computer-supported surgery as well as stimulation therapies of movement disorders.
3. Since 2010, Dirk Lindner has been a Consultant of Neurosurgery at the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Leipzig. Between 2007 and 2008, he worked as a Scientist at the Innovation Center of Computer-Assisted Surgery, Leipzig, Germany. His scientific focus is on neurosurgical imaging, neuronavigation and ultrasound.
4. Jürgen Meixensberger has been Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Leipzig, Germany, since 2001. Since 2005, he has been Director of the Board at the Innovation Center of Computer-Assisted Surgery. Between 2010 and 2012, he was President of the German Society of Neurosurgery.
