Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of humble leadership and psychological well-being of employees on innovative work behaviors. In addition, the mediating effect of psychological well-being in the effect of humble leadership on innovative work behavior was examined in the study. In the study, the concepts of humble leadership, innovative work behavior and psychological well-being are explained and hypotheses formed by considering the theoretical and empirical relationships between the variables are included. Humble leadership, psychological well-being and innovative work behavior scales, whose psychometric properties were tested before, were used to measure the variables within the scope of the study. 209 blue-collar employees from a company operating in the IT sector in Istanbul participated in the research. According to the research findings, it has been determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between the humble leadership perception, psychological well-being and innovative work behavior. A positive and significant relationship was also found between innovative work behavior and psychological well-being. In addition, it has been determined that psychological well-being has a partial mediating role in the effect of humble leadership on innovative work behavior
