Abstract
Three Cortinarius species, C. barbatus, C. osmophorus, and C. Saturninus, have been identified as new records for the Turkish mycota based on macro- and micromorphological characters, and their identifications were supported by molecular (rDNA ITS)
phylogenetic data. The Turkish specimens are illustrated, and their diagnostic characters are compared with published descriptions of the same species and related taxa.
