Inclusive Education in Secondary Schools in Chitwan
Abstract
This article explores the practice of Inclusive education and the perception of English Teacherson Inclusive Education in private schools in Chitwan. The purpose of this research article is to explore the status of inclusive education and to explore the perception of English teachers regarding inclusive education practices. It can be listed below – (1) to explore the status of inclusive education practices in private and public schools in Chitwan, and (2) to explore the perception of English teachers regarding inclusive education practices in institutionalised schools in Chitwan. The research will be based on the following research questions – (1) what is the status of the practice of inclusive education in state-owned and community-managedpublic schools and institutionalised schools with private investment in Chitwan? and (2) how do the secondary English teachers in state-owned and community-managed public schools and institutionalised schools with private investment in Chitwan perceive inclusive education? For data collection, purposive sampling is adopted and the sample size will be one English teacher each from public and private schools in Chitwan. The collected data will be stored and analysed using narrative inquiry as a research method and the tool of data collection will be a semi-structured face-to-face interview.
