Abstract
In a stratified random sample ( N = 2926) used for the standardisation of AH4 by Heim for the age range from 13 to 18 years in Greece, the difference in IQ between urban and rural children was examined The differences between urban and rural residence and IQ were significant at all ages except the 15-yr. group; but the latter account for a small percentage (1%) of variability. IQs of both rural and urban boys are higher than those of girls, on the average.
