Abstract

Key Points The present article revealed the utility of simulated residual OCT‐μQFR, which was computed from pre‐PCI angiography and OCT, by assuming full stent expansion to the intended‐to‐treat segment. More accurate and specific PCI planning, including the decision on treatment segment and the size and length of devices, is possible using simulated residual OCT‐μQFR. Future studies should be considered to determine whether the further plaque composition AI analysis application will support comprehensive residual risk assessment by OCT‐guided PCI.
