Abstract
AbstractWe reported herein an electrochemically reductive alkylation, allylation and propargylation of quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones with haloalkanes. In an undivided cell, treatment of quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones and alkyl halides with constant current, a wide range of 3‐alkylated‐3,4‐dihydroquinoxalin‐2(1H)‐one and its derivatives can be isolated in 25–87% yields.magnified image
