59‐2: Diffuse Reflected Light Control for Reflective Tablet Display by Combining Use of Anisotropic and Isotropic Light‐Diffusing Films

Abstract

By optimizing an anisotropic light‐diffusing film with an internal refractive‐index distribution polymer structure and an isotropic light‐diffusing adhesive, we have developed a reflective display configuration that can efficiently diffuse‐reflect light incident from four azimuth directions. This configuration can be applied to tablet display devices that are rotated during use.
