Abstract
Abstract
The angiographic and clinical findings in 30 patients with smoothly dilated, tortuous, elongated arteries with a slow blood-flow on arteriography are presented.
In many patients there was a short history of intermittent claudication, and in some a tendency to peripheral embolism and gangrene.
Twenty patients (66 per cent) had aneurysms.
The term ‘arteriomegaly’ is suggested, as the aetiology of the condition is not clearly defined.
