Abstract
Abstract
A case of traumatic haemobilia which was diagnosed preoperatively, is reported. The site of bleeding was demonstrated by operative angiography through the right hepatic artery. The patient was treated by ligation of the common hepatic artery. Re-bleeding required a second operation and ligation of the right hepatic branch without adverse consequences on the hepatic function.
