Abstract

Abstract Sixty-two patients with gastric ulcers have been treated by vagotomy, pyloroplasty, and excision of the ulcers from 1963 to 1971. There has been only 1 recurrence. It is suggested that excision of the ulcer is an important step in conservative surgery for gastric ulcer.
