Abstract
AbstractCobalt‐chromium oxide catalyst and cerium‐doped cobalt‐chromium oxide catalyst were prepared by the coprecipitation method. The doping effect of Ce on the catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3 was investigated. Compared to Cobalt‐chromium oxide catalyst, the doping of Ce improved the catalytic activity and water and sulfur resistance of the catalyst. The doping of Ce significantly changed the surface morphology, reduced the crystallinity and increased the specific surface area of the catalyst. The large specific surface area of the catalyst facilitated the high dispersion of the acidic sites and promoted the adsorption and desorption of NH3. The doping of Ce increased the chemisorbed oxygen content and the number of acidic sites, enhancing the SCR activity of the catalyst. In addition, the doping of Ce increased the percentage of Co3+ and changed the ionic state of Cr, promoting the interaction between metal ions.
