Abstract

The mechanical properties of the steel/polymer/steel layered material are determined by taking the sum or average of the properties of the constituent components. To understand the reasons behind non‐hetero‐deformation‐induced hardening at the deformed polymer/steel interface, a combined approach of experimental methods and modeling techniques is employed.
