Key points Emotional wellbeing (EWB) is a multi‐faceted concept of immediate relevance to human health. NEW Brain Aging Center focuses on mechanistic understanding of EWB in relation to brain aging. A reactivity and reappraisal model can serve the understanding of EWB and its age‐related changes.
