Abstract
AbstractUsing a definition of catalyst selectivity presented in a previous paper, comparisons are made between the selectivities for several kinetic mechanisms under steady‐state and dynamic operations. The effects of surface coverage and competition for active sites are examined. The results obtained have several interesting practical implications.
