Abstract
Background: Goats, like other ruminant species, will from time to time require surgicial interventions. This could be a caesarean section following dystocia in a doe while kidding, or the surgical removal of an neoplastic eye in an aging pet pygmy goat.Aim of the article: This article, the second in a two‐part series, outlines the common surgical techniques that may be required by the general practitioner when working with caprine patients. It aims to equip veterinary practitioners with the necessary knowledge and top tips to perform some of these techniques in goats.
